European Education Summit

As laureate of the European Innovation Award, and its first edition launched by the European Commissioner Maria Gabriel, NARHU was selected to take part in the fourth European Education Summit. Mrs. Petya Grudeva representing NARHU participated in the panel Highlights from the 2021 European Innovative Teaching Award. Speakers were given five minutes each to introduce the awarded project and respond to the questions related to the innovations in education and digitalisation of the educational and training process. The awarded Speech Pathology project, where NARHU is a partner, has been briefly introduced to the online participants.

In addition, NARHU provided ideas on how the interactive tools on recognition of the speech and language pathologies among children at initial education can be integrated in the formal school curricula. Another topic under discussion with NARHU representative was related to the role of the teacher in supporting pupils with fewer opportunities in order to provide inclusive education.
In the wrap up of the discussion, The European Commissioner Maria Gabriel highlighted that the proposed outcomes of the projects are solution-oriented and ensure gamification and digitalising of the educational resources, which is a great value for the current education systems.
